Only one is drawing CPU and memory.

This seems to be normal - as a long-term Filter Forge user I have noticed that as well. I guess, one is the main process for the application while the other process is taking care of the filter rendering, thus allocating memory for filter processing. But the details can only be answered of the FF programmers themselves smile:)
