::GetSaveFileNameW failed with error code 0x000A0002.

Wow. Just did a 2048x2048 px render of my rather complex "Kingdoms" filter. 16 minutes later I'm not able to save it. I get the error message above.

I also can't open an image: ::GetOpenFileNameW failed with error code 0x000A0002.

As long as I don't select another filter, FF is just sitting there - flatlining at about 3.5 gig RAM usage - displaying my render in Preview.

When I switch to another filter, everything starts working normally again. Open/Save dialogs actually appear, etc. Looks very much like a RAM issue.

I haven't been able to reproduce it yet. Will keep you posted.

In the meantime, do you have any helpful info on this error message?

My guess is that you ran out of available system handles, though it generally manifests itself in another way.

Hah. Reproduced. Sort of. I can see the Save As... dialog window, enter a name, choose file type, etc. But when I hit Save, it does nothing. I can keep clicking Save forever, and it won't work.

So I close the dialog. Then I try Open Image and Open Selection. Both lead to error messages, as posted above.

I would send you the filter ffxml privately, but it appears I can't attach anything to PMs?

Please send the .ffxml file to support@ – this is the most appropriate way.

Hmmm. On the other hand, I'd really like to investigate this further before I bother support with it. We'll see...
