i was workingo on a filter tonight and it crashed. no bug report was allowed. the message came up to generate a bug report but it didnt work.

the sequence of events was i was editing a filter. i saved it. i worked on it some more WITHOUT LEAVING the editor and saved it again. as soon as i saved it again i got a bug report popup. (i did a screensave at this point). when i clicked on the button to generate the report it gave another bug report. i clicked again and another report came up. each report replaced the last one. it was essentially the same report but the numbers at the end changed each time. this repeated about 20 times. each time i clicked a new popup came up, each with different numbers at the end (the numbers in the report at the end. see attached).

after clicking on each of these popups, FF finally crashed completely back to desktop and no report browser came up.

i havent checked yet to see if the last save saved or if the previous save still works. i'll do that after this report. i suspect the last one will be corrupt.

this is similar to a bug report i submitted a couple versions back, only this time it generated multiple bugs.

just a quick update: the one filter was corrupted and i had to delete it. i also think, on recalling the actions again, that the filter didnt crash when it saved; it crashed when i made an alteration to the selector slider number field on that component.

i have now finished this filter and submitted it. so, as i write this, it shld be in the submission queue. the filter is 'Rubber Faces III'. i also saved the corrupted file out to a separate folder in case you need it.

Yes, it's a known issue. The developers are thinking about what to do with it.
