The input image is 4096x2048, giving it an aspect ratio of 2:1. Why can't FF recognize this?

TBH-1138, please let me know the version of your Filter Forge (and how did you used it: as a plugin or as a standalone program) and what filter you tried to apply? It is also important if you had made any selection on the image before you tried to render it in Filter Forge.
Regards,
Jane

I'm using 3.014, this happens in standalone and the plugin, this is either my Image-based Shear filter or Indigo Ray's Local Vortices, and there was no selection.

TBH-1138, you've found a bug: Filter Forge shouldn't behave like this. In the future version this bug'll be fixed.

But until the future version is released you can use this workaround:
1. Right-click the preview image.
2. Select Preview Size option in the pop-up menu.
3. Then select Actual.

Now your image should be saved normally.
Regards,
Jane
