I've had the trial version for a few weeks. About 5 or 6 days into the trial, I tried downloading/using the 4.0 beta version. It didn't want to open. I get this message>> Filter Forge has encountered a problem and needs to close. Since then, I have since then uninstalled, completely deleted everything, & started from scratch, again, but nothing has worked.

The newest beta doesn't open for me either. All of other 4.0 beta versions opened just fine. Anyone from FF have any suggestions for us? It is fairly troubling since I actually have already purchased 4.0 and my business depends on it working.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! I've reinstalled it 4 times. It shows up as running in my task manager, just simply never opens for me. I've even let it sit there for over an hour before ending the process. I hope this info helps solve the problem three of us are now facing. occasional moments of profundity... |

profundities, it seems a security software prevents Filter Forge from running on your PC.

@ GMM
I'd already added the new beta to my firewall rules, but I did it again and that did not help. Any other suggestions? occasional moments of profundity... |

profundities, please go to your %temp% folder, locate the "Filter Forge x86.log" file and post its content here.
