![]() I'm using PSE10, Windows 7, and Filter Forge 3. Starting today I am no longer able to use FF. I had updates to Windows 7 this morning. And, after that FF stopped working. I uninstalled FF and re-installed it. Restarted my computer a couple times, too. Nothing has seemed to work. Could someone please help me. Thanks. ![]() |

No, when I click on my FF desktop icon it doesn't do anything. Is that what you meant?

No, right now I have McAfee & Threatfire. My Norton is expired, but it's still on my computer.

Threatfire is also known to cause problems, please review the linked thread in my previous post.

Sadly, adding FF to the Trusted Processes on Threatfire, and restarting my computer, didn't work. At all.

I'd start with disabling Threatfire entirely, just to see if without it FF works. If not, there's another problem.
If it works without Threatfire, it's time to investigate further how to make it work with FF. |

Well, that did it! ThreatFire was officially the problem, I uninstalled it, and FF opened like a charm. Ugh, any suggestions for anti-virus protection that won't interfere with FF?

+1 to Security Essentials: it is fast, reliable and unobtrusive.
