Hi,
Yesterday I downloaded and installed FF2. I ran it for the first time and everything was ok.
Today I tried to run it again and got a mesage that my 30 days trial is over and I need to buy a key. I reboot my computer and tried to run FF2 again, but this time it won't even load. I get no window, no error, no message no nothing.
I tried donloading and installing FF3 beta, and it's also not loading, and give me no error messages.
I have windows7 Ultimate x64 SP1,
4Gb RAM
CPU is Intel Core i5 760, 2.80 GHz.

I don't use Comodo,
I don't use ZoneAlarm,
I don't use Spyware PC doctor.

What should I do?
Thanks!

Please reboot to Safe mode and try again. Will it load?

Just tried, FF won't load in Safe mode either. When I tried FF2 I got a message that trial period over and I should buy a key. Then I when I tried FF2 or tried FF3 beta they didn't load at all.

Do you have any other security software, an antivirus or a debugger?
Have you used System restore to go back to an earlier point?
Have you changed the system date since FF installation?

You can request a temporary 30-day key from the support team in case you're able to see the 'trial period expired' window again.
Also, please run Task Manager, switch to the Processes tab and make a screenshot of all active processes.

I have Kaspersky Internet Security 11 anti-virus running, although I tried disabling it and running FF. It didn't help.

Nope. System restore is disabled on my system.

No, but I may have set the time a little... The clock was off by a few minutes. Although I'm pretty sure I changed the time prior to installing FF.

One more thing, I only installed the Standalone version of FF, not the Photoshop plugins... Don't know if this matters.

Attached is my Processes tab.

Thanks for sending this.
Please try to add Filter Forge to the Kaspersky Trusted Zone (as described here). You need to add every exe file in \Program Files\Filter Forge 2\Bin\ and \Program Files\Filter Forge 3\Bin\ — that's 5 executables for each program version.

Reboot and try running Filter Forge again.

Tried it, added total of 10 EXE files to trusted zone, no luck...
Clicking on FF shotcut makes windows "think" for 2 secs and then nothing happens.
Still no errors, popping windows or changes to running processes.
smile:(

Morgantao, that's really weird.
Please locate the Filter Forge log file in your %TEMP% folder (by default it is C:\Users\Username\Appdata\Local\Temp\Filter Forge x86-SSE2.log) and post its contents here.

I'm afraid I don't have such a file...
Lots and lots of other files there (1845 files and folders to be exact), but nothing that has "filter" in it's file name.
