Since the last update I'm experiencing a strange issue with saving filters. I can't reproduce it, but it always goes something like this:
1) I'm working inside the filter editor for some time... 2) I notice the filter editor window title bar displays an asterisk behind the filter name, signifying the existence of unsaved work... 3) I decide I should save my work, and hit CTRL+S. But the asterisk is still there! ![]() (Filter appears to be unsaved?) 4) I go to 'File > Save Filter'... asterisk still there! ![]() (Filter definitely appears to be unsaved!) 5) I hit the 'Save Filter' button, the filter gets saved (finally!) and the app exits out of the filter editor OR 5) I hit the 'X' button on the window bar to close the filter editor window, get the 'The filter has been modified. Save changes?' dialog. I hit 'Yes', the filter saves and the editor closes. Anyone else getting this? --- Crapadilla says: "Damn you, stupid redundant feature requests!" ;) |

The bug turned up quite frequently on my FF session this night, but it seems random and I still can't reproduce it reliably.

Call me crazy.....but it sounds like part of the Bastard Bug (aka - resource leak) that you don't get.....so welcome to the club......
![]() ![]() That used to happen to me too when I left FF running too long.....and to avoid it, I now do frequent shutdowns and re-starts of FF...... Steve

If that were true, why didn't I get this bug with earlier versions? --- Crapadilla says: "Damn you, stupid redundant feature requests!" ;) |

This is related to the 'Undo after saving' feature introduced in the version 013. However, we are unable to locate the bug yet. If someone finds a way to reproduce it, please send the report to us. |

This bug seems to have been squished in the newest update...

Bump!
I'm experiencing this bug frequently in v2.008 when editing filter info. Everything works/saves fine until I go to 'Filter > Edit Filter Info' and make changes there. After that, CTRL+S and 'File > Save Filter' don't work anymore. This happens every time I go 'Filter > Edit Filter Info' and make edits there! --- Crapadilla says: "Damn you, stupid redundant feature requests!" ;) |
