If the 'Directional' slider of the Motion Blur component is set to 100 it produces artifacts (noticeable when compared to source image). In this example the artifacts appear as horizontal bands due to the blur angle being horizontal:
![]() This happens in both Gaussian and regular mode. In the mean time the workaround is to set the 'Directional' slider to 99.999999. This however introduces other major problems (although they are not reflected in the example). Motion Blur Bug.ffxml |

The plus side of this bug is that it allows you to reverse engineer the size of the original image and create pixel-size based effects.

Exactly, but ideally it would be better to have a set of image property components (like average color, min and max) that gives you these constants, and then get the offset bug fixed in the motion blur. |

We're aware of the issue. However, don't expect it to be fixed soon (Vladimir may be able to give a more precise estimate). Try to find some positive effects in it, as ThreeDee did
