I installed the update, and now this software is asking for my gd license key??!?!?!??! I bought the software in december of 2007, I don't know where the key is and this company lists a BULLSHIT phone number. All you get when you try and call is an answering machine that says "cannot answer the phone..." REGARDLESS of the time of day OR night. I need to get my key back. WHY WOULD YOU HAVE AN UPDATE FORCE A RE-ENTRY OF A LICENSE KEY?!??! THAT IS RIDICULOUS!!!

erm...rather than ranting here...have you tried using the "Contact" tab..to send an email?

Have you looked through your emails? As a backup plan I always either keep the numbers in a text file and put them with the other files related to that app,keep the emails when the numbers are mailed to me or write them down somewhere just in case stuff happens or I need them for future reference like re-installing my OS or moving stuff to a new computer....Even in software and games you will see something to the effect of "Write down this number for future rerference"
But like Chris said rather then rant use the contact tab....  Stupid things happen to computers for stupid reasons at stupid times! |
