Do you really need more than one slider?
![]() Speaking seriously: please attach the filter and describe your actions: where in particular you were trying to attach the slider, etc. Also, please post your OS version and Filter Forge version. |

Most of my filters would benefit from the limit. ![]() I am using XP Pro 32 SP3 I was about to add the slider called 'Border Color' to the blend component. After I got the error I exited FF and when I re-entered everything was fine. Btw, it was a threshold component that would not refresh in the viewport but it was fine in the result window. Unfortunately those changes were discarded so I cannot post them. Behind Beveled Glass.ffxml @ronviers |

weird bugs showing up where you had none before is often the resource bug manifesting itself in odd ways. this happens when you've had FF open for a long while and been using a lot of memory. you're losing memory with FF open and as it gets less and less, FF starts reaching for things that shld be in memmory but have gotten fragged up or lost, so you start getting oddball errors. i've never had the one you got, but i've had others that never show up again. it's just the memory leak bug manifesting itself by not finding the things it needs because it's eaten all the memory.
ok, i shld also point out, that that's just pure speculation based on past performance. go with what the FF guys say over anything i say here ![]() If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!
