After my recent update of the Clockwork Factory filter was entered into the library, I noticed some oddity with the default preset. The image below shows the filter that I have sent in...

And here is what it looks like after I downloaded it from the library...

Notice that seamless tiling is now turned off, and the preview thumbnail has consequently changed. Strange!

When we accept filters to the library, we force Seamless Tiling to 'On'.

The point is, the filter from the library had seamless tiling turned OFF, which shouldn't be the case, whereas the filter I sent had it turned ON deliberately so I could see what the default preset will look like. Hence my bewilderment, as the tick-box must have been unticked server-side while the submission was processed.

Correction. Actually, when we accept filters to the library, we force Seamless Tiling to 'Off'. But images for the website are rendered with Seamless Tiling forced to 'On'.

Hmmm. For my taste the 'Seamless Tiling' settings as submitted by the author shouldn't be touched at all, they should just be temporarily overridden for rendering the library images.

As you can see in the second image I posted, forcing seamless tiling off in the default preset (the others remained untouched) kind of destroys the thumbnail that I carefully selected. In this case, the preset only works with seamless tiling turned on.
