where the hell do i put them, and how do i make FF recognize the fact that they are present? smile:cry:

What should I do with .ffcmd files?

Actually, there's nothing to do with them. The .ffcmd files are not the filters, just the links to them. A filter has the ffxml extension. You may have to tell your web browser to open the .ffcmd file type automatically in FF so that the whole download process happens at once.
