I'm having probs downloading any filters myself. FF opens, but it just opens to the last filter I was working on. It's been happening since Friday or so. Is this just an FF server problem or something ?

			jffe,

What about downloading via the built-in library browser (old-style Filter Library)? The same problem?

To switch to the old-style library, go to Tools > Options > Online tab and select the "Use the built-in library browser (obsolete)" option.

----I didn't try it that way. I tried downloading a couple different filters over the weekend from their pages, say 3 times, and no luck, FF would just open to the last filter I had worked on, but it seems to download them now. No idea why it did that, and not really a big deal to me personally. Might be something to look out for, or look into is all.

O.k., it's doing it again, but, I found the filter I click on (from it's webpage) gets downloaded and filed, it does NOT open when FF opens. Which makes no sense, since I haven't changed anything in FF, and there's been no updates to the FF program in well over a month now. Any ideas why this is happening ? Not a really big deal, but it has caused me much confusion, and is a new and unecessary hassle really.

Same thing today. If I click on a filter to download from it's page, I get nothing, FF opens to the last filter I was using, and the new filter I want to check out is NOT downloaded. I have to go in and use the old method to get a new filter to download.

I still can't download filters, as a matter of fact I bought the software last week, and were just able to download a few filters at the beginning.

Filters won't open in the program, and if I try the built in option to download I only get an error message saying that it can't run Filter Forge because it is already running, no download at all.
 Any help???

Jffe and Aylah, do you use Internet Explorer for downloading filters? Our web team say they've fixed a server error in handling IE requests -- please try again.

----I'm running IE 6, and it still doesn't work. I click on a filter to download, and it opens FF to the last filter I was using.

Try to clear your browser's cache. Space... it seems to go on and on forever. But then you get to the end and a gorilla starts throwing barrels at you.

You've probably deleted FF cookies...
Click the link "Filter Forge Is Already Installed" on that error page and retry to download the filter - this should help you.
