Filter Forge - Too many Loop iterations in "Foregin Planet" filter make Win11 crash

Cliff3D Cliff3D Posts: 6	Using the latest FF15 I can't even preview this filter (Library_13630-1.ffxml) it brings my i9 CPU usage up to 100% and - after hours - causes my laptop to reboot. Editing the filter to reduce the iterations to 6 or less rectifies the issue, but the result is poor. I am testing it at 7, but render time has shot up again. This problem has apparently been around for a few years ago, although the filter is said to have worked much quicker initially (and not crashed PCs). Cheers, Cliff3D

Ramlyn Ramlyn Posts: 2950 Filters: 706	Maybe you can contact directly Filter Forge Support Team (this is the direct link: Support) and explain this issue. They may have some good idea for solving the problem. It may also be a trouble related to a change in the last versions of Filter Forge, so they may solve it with an update. It happened to me before that I found something not working and they immediately solved it.
