So, i did not used Filterforge 7 for a few Years.
Now its unable to connect to the Servers. Its NOT a Firewall Problem, i disabled it completely to test it. It just says "unable to connect to server" i i try to update FF or the Filters and gives me the same Error if i try to download new Filters. I reinstalled it again, same problem. |

Try using the Mac or Windows version of.FF7 from this, top of this post:

I tried FF6 and it has the same issue. I then tried FF9 and had no issues of downloading filters. I have not tried FF8 since I cannot find the serial at the moment. So it seems at the moment anything FF7 and under does not work at connecting.. I have used the Windows version so I cannot speak for the Mac version...

Many outages today (Amazon Cloud Services was down, used by a lot of companies). I was able to download/update filters in FF6 and FF7 on my Macbook Pro just now.
UPDATE: FF6 and FF7 still do not connect to the servers under Windows 10. FF8 and above work properly. Math meets art meets psychedelia. |

Filter Forge 7 had been released in 2017 - that's 8 years ago - and was discontinued in 2018. It is very possible that recent Windows updates broke connectivity between the program and the library server.
The library itself is working properly, since Rachel is able to download filters under Mac. |
