Filter Forge DOES NOT UPDATE!

After contacting the support here .. I have been patiently waiting for a reply. WHY charge for a product that has so many bugs .. customer care is nonexistent and I feel like the money I have spend is truly a waste. I have shared gyazos of what happens when I try and download the program here

Then to top all this bullshit off .... I CAN NOT UNINSTALL IT FROM MY PC!!!
The program does not have an UNINSTALL file .. so even trying to manually remove it does not work .. deleting the launcher is the same thing .. just error after error after error its sooooooooooooooooooooooo annoying .. FILTERFORGE support please get your s*** together! or im going to cancel my subscription and opt for a refund from my financial institution!

To me it looks like a Windows problem, maybe you don't have enough privileges, try to run the file as administrator. To easily uninstall programs from the Start Menu search the app and right-click on it, choose uninstall, but there are several other ways.

This is Windows issues. Change the download of your browser to the desktop so the filter forge exe downloads to the desktop. Then try installing from the exe on the desktop. That program to remove it may have messed something up. Try to copy something to that downloads folder and then open from there to see if you can still access that folder. Could also be a security program that changed the access. So doing it from the desktop is a test to see if that is the case.

Good deal. I do not know what Antivirus you have but you might be able to set an exception for Filter Forge then turn the Antivirus back on. So that way when downloading filters that Antivirus does not block it again.
