I have seen that if you see an image that is NOT SQUARE in the forum that you want to use and copy to another post, you copy the link, and then you use this link in another post, it will be shown wrong
1 - LANDSCAPE image will be transformed into double height if it is a landscape image, as in the example below ![]() this image is copied from this thread here that is shown correctly 2 - PORTRAIT VERTICAL Or image will be reduced to half of original height if it is a portrait vertical image ![]() as seen here the original one I think is better to copy an image that is already available and uploaded so it will save space and do not have to upload it again in my post, and if you want to use it in a quote, is needed to use the link of the image Steps to reproduce this: 1 - Search for any NON SQUARE image already uploaded in any post in the forum 2 - Copy the link of that image 3 - Make a new post either in the same thread of the linked image or in another thread and put some text 4 - Click on the "Image" button to be able to paste the image link 5 - Test that the image is showing wrong with the Preview button or saving the post and it will be shown wrong |
