Well, FF is already optimised to get the most of all the CPU cores and use all the power you may have, so it is a normal and usual thing that it would take all the available CPU usage if it needs it.

Another thing is from where are you seeing the 100% usage ?

Can you please be so kind to put a screenshot showing how your computer is working while using FF?

This is another thing, if any other app or thing takes longer, then you have to see who is really taking the most of the usage and see on the Processes tab, what software you have installed and which one is the highest using the CPU and RAM

If it is really FF, then may be right and you can configure how much RAM FF uses in the options

If it is not really FF then you may have a problem with another software that makes as a hog of the system

So if you can also show the processes tab so see that really is FF taking the most of the usage and not other one
