Ramlyn Ramlyn Posts: 2930 Filters: 691	I have a filter that I don't succeed to submit. The filter is accepted for upload without any problem. But finally I get the message in the picture. "Connection error". It can't be about connection, because I uploaded other filters before and after this and it goes fine. This is not a particularly slow filter, so it can't even be that it was refused because too slow. It has no Map Script that gives any error. Then this is not the reason too. It has many controls. But Filter Forge accepts up to 100 controls and this filter has less than 100.

SpaceRay SpaceRay Posts: 12298 Filters: 35	I think that this error seems to be an error of Filter Forge not able to connect with the FF server, and not because there may be something wrong with your filter, the only problem I think is maybe that is not able to send the filter to the FF server and you should try later again You say that it can not be the connection because you already uploaded some, but it may be that the problem can be on/off, I mean it may connect correctly for some filters, but then for others not and have to try again later

When we try to upload a picture in this forum, if the picture is big, we may get the message : "Maximum allowed size of the file to upload exceeded (1000 Kb).". This filter size is a little more than 1000 Kb, then the Library gets error.

GMM Moderator Filter Forge, Inc Posts: 3491	I confirm filters over 1000 Kb in size get rejected. We're looking into it.

GMM Moderator Filter Forge, Inc Posts: 3491	Feel free to submit your filter - we increased the file size limit to 5 MB. Please don't abuse this opportunity, since many users have slow Internet connection, and nobody wants to stare at the "Downloading filters..." message for too long
