Filter Forge - Filter Forge and VMWare Fusion

Rick Quisenberry Posts: 2	Greeting all: I've tried running both Filter Forge 5 and version 6 beta for Windows (Window 10/64 bit) that runs under VMWare Fusion on my MacBook Pro. In both cases, it fails to load in either standalone mode or from Photoshop (CS6 / 64 bit). No error messages or hung processes show up - nothing happens (except that PS hangs). I've not had problems with program compatibility with Fusion before and I'm wondering if anyone else has had better luck. Thanks Rick Quisenberry

Ramlyn Ramlyn Posts: 2930 Filters: 691	Hummm.... I tried with a different virtual machine program, VirtualBox, and I got no problems. But the two programs are a bit different, so it is difficult to say.

GMM Moderator Filter Forge, Inc Posts: 3491	Rick, this is known behavior. Sorry to disappoint you but running Filter Forge in virtual environments is not supported.
