1. Under Custom Filters, create a new storage folder and a handful of arbitrarily nested sub-folders within.
2. Expand some of these newly created folders to display their sub-folders in the folder tree (to 'simulate' some random view state). 3. Right-click on Custom Filters. Choose Refresh. 4. Start selecting through your partially expanded folder-tree, top to bottom. - Note how the light-blue pre-selection and the darker blue selection states on the folders are no longer rendered. It is no longer possible to tell which folder you have selected. - Note how nested folders can no longer be expanded/collapsed. [Or rather, they can, but the display does no longer refresh, it seems.] - There may now be a disconnect between the folder you 'apparently' just clicked on and the contents that are displayed in the filter browser to the right. [Again, possibly due to the display not refreshing.] Anyone else getting this? I've also had a GUI redraw issue connected to this, where I ALT-tabbed out to another application window, then ALT-tabbed back and found the folder-tree part of the filter manager totally greyed out. --- Crapadilla says: "Damn you, stupid redundant feature requests!" ;) |

I have tested this myself and I do not get any error, and all the darker blue (folder) and light blue (sub-folder) are shown right even after the refresh, and I can expand and collapse and refresh them without problem, and see all the nested subfolders.
I can select any of the main folders, subfolders, and sub-sub folders, and move inside and outside of them and do not have any refresh problem, and always is shown right the dark and light blue This is the nested folders I have created ![]() |

Crapadilla, this is related to other UI refreshing issues. A progress bar for copying and refreshing (planned for 4.008) should fix that.

So what's going on there? When hitting Refresh, FF re-reads the file-structure and doesn't update the GUI until the refresh is complete?

AFAIK, yes. Locking the UI and displaying a progress bar should prevent such visual issues. |
