hi guys,

nice, new release!

one thing i've found so far is that when saving a filter in the "my filters" folder to "favorites", i get no message that it is saving or has been previously saved. it just refreshes the filter and you see nothing else. it does apparently save it, there's just no message like before when doing so.

Could you please provide more details? Adding any filter to favorites (either via right-click or via drag-and-drop) generates a yellow balloon notification for me.

hi gmm,

hmmm, well, i was using a filter in "my filters" and wanted to add it to "my favorites". i right-clicked on the filter name in the scrolling list to get the menu item of "save to favorites" and did so. when i clicked on it, i saw nothing and the filter refreshed itself in the main window. that was it. every time i repeated it i got the same results. i did check "my favorites" to see if the filter was there now and it was.

i'll check it again, though.

ok, that was a bit odd. i called up ff4 and it did exactly the same thing. no message and, even though the filter was in the "my favorites", i could still right click and get the "add to favorites" item. it was not ghosted out.

when i tried a different filter, it once again gave me no message, but moved the highlighted filter to one already in "my favorites", but not the one i had just added. when i moved back to the original filter, the "add to favorites" was still not ghosted.

Well I have tried to add a filter from the library list to the favorites using the menu instead of drag´n´drop and I got a message telling me what is shown below

Then also I tried one filter inside the "my filters" folder and again when adding this throught the menu, it gave me the same message

So I do not know what may be happening to you

Maybe is because I am using windows and I do not remeber if you have Mac instead

Sorry, still cannot reproduce it (though I may be using a newer Filter Forge build to be released as hotfix later today).

hi gmm,

it still does it. also, i'm using a pc running windows 7.

today i tried it again. i put the mouse on a filter name in the scroll down list. i right click to get the menu. i left click "add to favorites" and at first i get the message now. i go to "my favorites" and there is the filter i added from "custom filters/my filters". also, when i do the right click, i'm taken to the "my favorites" list and it highlights some other filter than the one i just clicked. when i go back to "my filters", and right click on the filter again, "add to favorites" is NOT ghosted. if i click on it again, i get no message but the filter will refresh.

i suppose this could be a download bug, just some minor bit came through wrong. hardly worth re-installing, but i may. if i do, i'll let you know if anything changes.
