My mom just got herself PS elements because of the bad allocation error. I´m trying to help her install it, but throwing it into the Plugins folder apparently didn´t work. So where should it go?

I don't know if PS Elements is officialy supported as a host for FF.
I can't remember if it's PS Elements or lightroom that can't use 8bf plugins, and I don't have either one, so I can't test it myself.

GMM should have an answer for you on monday, I suppose...

Hmm hopefully lol.

As far as I know it can use .8bf. It´s just the wrong folder I guess.
Worst case she will have to wait until I visit her.

For others that may have MAC

Under Windows, PS Elements 2.0 to 10 are supported (unfortunately no support for Elements under Mac).

Really, MAC only support full version of Photoshop and no other software.

Sharandra, what PSE version is used?
If it is a supported host you just need to reinstall Filter Forge, and it should appear in the filter list.
