Odd error when trying to download new filters:

For months now, I have not been able to get any new filters. I've just upgraded to FF3, so am taking the time to try to solve the issue. I connect to the server fine, but gets hung up on "Getting the list of filters." I then get this error:
Initial data download failed. Reason: 'get_filters_short_info() failed.'.

Any ideas? Am also emailing FF support. Thanks.

I have not seen this error beofre and looking in the forum it seems that it have happened already before

but if you say that this is still happening, it seems that is not probably a temporary bug or error, or perhaps only happens with some computer configuration or some kind of settings

Do you have a proxied or a direct connection? Please review your connection settings in Tools > Options > Online.
