Certainly, It seems that it is working contrary to explanation.
HDR input to Source input is accepted, but output is non-HDR. smile:?:

In a recent filter, I input an HDR source into the smudge component. I find that the "non-smudged" areas (where trail = 0) are HDR, but the smudged areas (trail > 0) are NON-HDR. Is this intended, and if it is, can it be fixed? smile:?:
