Certainly, It seems that it is working contrary to explanation.
HDR input to Source input is accepted, but output is non-HDR.

In a recent filter, I input an HDR source into the smudge component. I find that the "non-smudged" areas (where trail = 0) are HDR, but the smudged areas (trail > 0) are NON-HDR. Is this intended, and if it is, can it be fixed?

Indigo Ray, we are unable to reproduce the problem from your screenshot (everything works as it should). Please attach or email the whole filter that manifests the issue.

Yes, you're right GMM, now it works.  It looks like this has been fixed in 3.008. Thanks, FF.
