I've just started with t6he ff 3 trial and found the watercolor painting filter on the website I wanted to try. When I chose the "Open this filter in ff" I get a response from Firefox that says
Is there a different way to download a filter or am I missing something because I'm just starting out. Thanks for any help, I hope this is posted in the correct sub forum. Wyndham |

I have not seen this error yet, and sorry that I can´t help to solve the FIREFOX problem, BUT I can suggest that you try to use another different browser to see if this can solve the problem.
The are 5 main browsers to try (Firefox, Opera, internet Explorer, Chrome and Safari) and when I have a possible problem downloading a filter I try it in another browser and it works usually. Also I have made a guide for problems downloading filters that I will give you the link |

Try to download the filter in the same way with different browsers, the first time you will need to activate the cookies for the Filter Forge to work and recognize the filters and be able to download them.
Here I have found the link to my guide BEFORE Posting an error downloading FF filters PLEASE see this thread ALSO there is another different way to download filter that does NOT DEPEND ON INTERNET BROWSERS and is using the Filter Browser that you can find inside Filter Forge.
