I thought that probably not ALL the FF users know that this can be done and wanted to put this here as an example.

As you can make a selection on photoshop and then apply the filter effects to ONLY the inside of that selection, so WHY do not use this to fill the inside of any font that you may like with FF textures ?

For this you only have to type the text in Photoshop, and then make the selection of that text, so it encloses the content of the font you have choosen to use. Then you only have to activate FF plugin and choose the filter texture that you want.

The great difference than making this directly in Photoshop is that with Filter Forge you have many settings to modify and adjust the textures to fill the font in the best possible way and reduce or enlarge the texture as you want or move it or make it fit as you want and need, and you can´t do this with a simple bitmap texture that could be used a background in Photoshop.

Here I put some examples

Another texture with a different font

I have not put any background, because you can put any background you want, or make the background with FF itself and put it in the layer below the text.

AND and many times with some nice textures is difficult to read the text, so is good also to use some of the layers blending options to optimize the borders and shape of the font and enclose the texture inside, so it can be read much better.

This below is EXACTLY THE SAME textured text as above and the only difference is that is WITHOUT the layers blending options activated. As you can see is more difficult to read it well.
