Particularly, I'd like to update/convert Emme's awesome Sketchy Painting filter to FF3:
http://www.filterforge.com/filters/8847.html Is there an easy way to do this, or does it have to be remade? |

I don't know about that, but may I ask why?
What's the difference between using the current FF 3.0 blend module, for example, and the FF 2.0 blend module? |

Please, could you explain and specify more and define what is for you "update/convert"?
All FF2 filters works well in FF 3 so you do not need to convert it Any change to any filter must be done by yourself and if it is easy or not depends of what you want to change in the filter. Remade = start from scratch and zero? no, you do not have to begin again from start, perhaps the word could be rebuilt or modified in filter editor Do you have already an idea how to make it better using FF3 components ? As morgantao said really there is not much difference betwen similar components of FF2 and FF3 Do you know a way to optmize this filter to make it better using any NEW component that is only available in FF3 or an updated FF 3 component that could make a good update? |
