Hello I just bought FF today.. What I want to do is create a Normal map fr om an Image. However, when I try to load the image it only shows me the default filter when FF opens. How do get my image to show so I can create the normal map?
Is there a beginners tutorial shows how to get started? I've viewed some tutorials however, they all assume you know wh ere to begin. Really confused. |

Hello Amethyst25..
Open an image using the file menu...Then Open Image....But you can't just load an image into filter forge and expect a normal...The normal map is for that certain filter that is selected....Here are a couple filters that create normal maps.... http://www.filterforge.com/filters/1477.html http://www.filterforge.com/filters/9463.html Use the filters web page to download these then select that filter and open your image..... Stupid things happen to computers for stupid reasons at stupid times! |

Thank you so much! This will really help me out! I tried them and was able to create the normal maps I needed!!
