I've been reading a lot about how we aren't supposed to download a filter and sell images from it when we didn't modify it enough to be original and I understand that.
But what about when we are selling something that has nothing to do with the filter? A specific example, I am selling facial expressions for a doll. The set has some 3D props too but they don't use any filters downloaded here. What does use a filter (namely Decorative Tiles 2 by Vladimir) is the counter the doll is sitting on. I have not used this image in any of my advertising yet because of this question. If I can't use this image in any official ads, can I still upload this image to web galleries and credit the author of the filter? ![]() |

Any work created in Filter Forge can be used for commercial and non-commercial purposes. It is considered polite to give credit to the filter author but you are not required to do this.

So if I understand correctly, we can sell anything we do in FF, except for library filters and presets?

If you download filters from the Filter Library and render textures using these filters, the respective filter authors will own the copyright for the filter files, and the end user holds the copyright for the final images.
