Can FF 1 Pro be upgraded to FF 3 Pro?

Wow some how I missed some new versions . I have Filter Forge 1.0 Professional. Can I upgrade to Filter Forge 3.0 Professional? Or do I have to buy the full Filter Forge 3.0 Professional?

I guess I never checked for a new one because the 1.0 Pro always gave me what I needed. It still does. I just seen there was a new one and though I would upgrade but its 3.0 Pro and I did not want to buy an upgrade to FF 3.0 Pro and then it not work because I do not have FF 2.0 Pro.

I know some people will not upgrade unless they need a new feature but I also know that with some companies if you do not upgrade ever few versions, you can not upgrade down the road.

So say from 1.0 to 3.0 or even 4.0 but when 5.0 hits, only people with the 3.0 or 4.0 can upgrade. So I don't want to get left out of the upgrade loop because I only know the professional is the best choice for me but cost a lot. So even though there is a sale, if the upgrade from Pro1 to Pro 3 is less, I would like to get in on it now before I get to far behind to upgrade. Also its a great product and new version means new filters.
