Filter Forge - Unable to download new filters

JimMcKnew JimMcKnew Posts: 2	I have been unable to download NEW filters since the vacation hiatus (i tried one old filter I had not previously downloaded and it worked fine). On the new filter attempts I receive the error message "Initial data download failed. Reason: 'get_families_versions_list () failed.'. Any ideas? Already tried re-installing FF3n with no luck. JimMcKnew

SpaceRay SpaceRay Posts: 12298 Filters: 35	Using Windows or Mac ? Which Internet security software are you using (if any) ? Which browser are you suing to try to download the filter ? Have you tried to download using a different browser ? Have you tried to use the built in filter download browser inside Filter Forge that it does not depend on any browser ? BEFORE REINSTALLING have you cleaned you computer and deleted any previous information of the FF old version ? If in Windows , I use the great, wonderful and free www.ccleaner.com Advantages and Disadvantages of using the OL and OLIFF Filters Library
