Discount Game

I'm sorry...I love the program...but the continuous discount "game" does not make me feel very good about Filterforge... Big discounts have been continuously expiring...only to be immediately followed by a new big discount...and this sales ploy has been going on here for quite some time... I find it very dishonest to mislead customers into thinking that they should jump to buy the program under the guise of a one-time expiring discount...when a new expiring discount is going to immediately follow it towards misleading the next wave of customers into buying the program...

I equate this sales practice with a sleazy car dealership or furniture store that has a continuous going-out-of-business sale...but never goes out of busines...

I think that this sales practice cheapens this otherwise good program...and it will eventually nip FF in the butt... Suggest lowering the price of the program offering occasional, smaller discounts that don't scream "desperate to make sales" like the ridiculous large discounts do...

I posted about this last week after paying a 'special early upgrade price' from an email only to then see the website cut the price twice more in the next two days!

Its a very strange way to treat customers and yes, I fully agree, it looks very skanky.

I kinda feel like i'm playing the stockmarket with filter forge discounts... Buy now, or do I wait and see if it goes up or down? Is 60% the lowest price, will it go down to 70% off or is it going up to 50% off next?

I'm thinking, holiday discount... I remember that was a good one for 2.0, can't remember how low it went tho... I'll hold out for now, I got a few more good filters in my stash, maybe I can bag myself 2 more HU's instead...
