Too bad I can't edit the title of this thread to include "solved"
I have solved this problem but I will leave this in case anyone else experiences it too...

I don't know if this has anything to do with the latest update- 2.012 (?) but after seeming to have a previous problem solved, I am now stuck with a new one:

My Dat a:
Filter Forge 2 (now 2.012) on a Intel Mac running OS 10.5.8

Previous problem:
After updating to 2.012 I could not download ANY filters...

Solution:
Restarted computer...

Result:
Seemed to work... Downloaded two filters and tried for a third... "Moon Craters" by Alex Grain

New problem:
"Moon Craters" appears to have caused Filter Forge to crash... being that it was the last filter opened when Filter Forge crashed it is NOW THE FILTER THAT FILTER FORGE WANTS TO OPEN WITH!!
So....... Filter Forge CAN'T OPEN!
I can't delete the filter because it crashes before it can even open.... AND all the filters in the library have NO NAMES!... Just wonderfully vague designations such as "Library_3623-1.ffxml".... (ooooh yeah, good ol' "Library_3623-1.ffxml"... yeah, I know that one....)

New Problem caused by the above problem:
I'm angry and dangerous to be around.

Request:
Does anyone know how to fix this? I imagine if I could find out what the library number of Moon Craters is I could delete it right from the folder... Right?

Side note: I DO NOT think "Moon Craters" is responsible for this problem ( I don't think it's broken or bad) I think this has something to do with the UPDATE... when I downloaded "Moon Craters" FF skipped the download procedure and went straight to the filter, an indication that I had already downloaded it once... but probably when I did there was no problem with FF...

EDITED TO ADD: I solved the problem.... Yes, I'm stupid... BUT I just noticed if you go to a particular filter's page and look at it's web address in the part after " /filters/ " those numbers before html are it's library number.
So I went and removed that filter manually and now I can open up Filter Forge... Now I can finish the 15 minutes of work I spent an hour on.... YAY!

I'm just wondering what the heck the update was for? I really hope it was not just to add the reminder pop up to upgrade to FF3...
