I'm on a Mac OS X 10.5.8. I've successfully installed FF3.
Assuming that all the FF2 filters will work in FF3, how do I transfer them from the old version to the new version? TIA, Beth |

The simple answer is to copy this whole folder to the same location on the other machine.
FOR MAC OS From FilterForge 2: ~/Library/Application Support/Filter Forge 2/system Copy to the same folder to FilterForge 3: ~/Library/Application Support/Filter Forge 3/system Please, see this threads here for more information Moving Filters From 1 Computer to Another Where are the downloaded Filter Forge filters located physically? Be aware that the MY FILTERS folders and MY PRESETS must be copied too if you have made your own presets or your filters. You can copy this folder to the same location on the other machine. FOR MAC OS FilterForge 2: ~/Library/Application Support/Filter Forge 2/My Filters copy to FilterForge 3: ~/Library/Application Support/Filter Forge 3/My Filters ------------------- FilterForge 2: ~/Library/Application Support/Filter Forge 2/My Presets copy to FilterForge 3: ~/Library/Application Support/Filter Forge 3/My Presets |
