NEW "preview images" option is always greyed out!!!
I successfully installed the new version 3. I'm doing everything according to the instructions/Help files, but the option to get a different preview (other than the lifesaver) stays greyed out. I have been waiting months for this, please tell me that it is a functional new option. Respectfully, Dave ![]() Dave Oliver |

Sorry, But I do not see in the screenshot that this is greyed out. This has been a real functional option since the beginning of the beta.
Have you tried with different filters and none of them work with the new bult-in preview images ?
To be able to use the built-in new preview images, after selecting the filter you want to use, you MUST be able to see the lifesaver preview (or any other of the built-in preview images if is a 3.0 filter) so then you can choose any of the new built-in preview images to replace the one that is by default. So, please, be sure that you are seeing one of the already built-in images (lifesaver or other) to be able to select ANOTHER new built-in image. As said well by Kraellin, to select a new one you just go to the menu and click on one. Please, if you still have problem to use the built-in images, tell me which filter are you trying to use. |

Or this only happens with the Bright dots filter ? Are you using the new FF 3.06 and not the beta ? I have already downloaded the Bright dots filters BUT it does NOT included all the presets that you are showing in your screenshot, and I can sel ect any of the built-in previews with the Bright dots filter. Here is a screenshot of my own version with FF 3.06, as you can see my presets for this filter are different from yours and the built-in previews option is NOT greyed out I do not know what happens ![]() |

SpaceRay,
You mentioned: I have already downloaded the Bright dots filters BUT it does NOT included all the presets that you are showing in your screenshot, and I can sel ect any of the built-in previews with the Bright dots filter. HOWEVER, According to http://www.filterforge.com/filters/282.htmlhttp://www.filterforge.com/filters/282.html In fact - It DOES HAVE ALL THESE PRESETS. ![]() Dave Oliver |

What is shown in the filters library page are "variations" and they do not always mean that this variations are included as presets in the downloadable filter, and it happens also that there could be MORE presets than shown on the filter library page.
I do not know if something have happened in my version when downloading BUT as shown on the screenshot above I ONLY HAVE 4 PRESETS !!! and all 4 show only the lifesaver. ------------------------------------------------- UPDATED I have deleted the Bright Dots filter from FF 3.0 and downloaded again, and surprise, now as you say it INCLUDES the presets as you have shown, I do not know waht happened before ![]() ![]() |

I "re-installed" the very same NEW version 3.006 Pro, and somehow, I can now see the new preview images.
