Another idea is to give tips on what is the best wat to prepare the photos to be processed by the filter in the possile way. Perhaps if the photo have a high contrast, or less saturated colors, or is softened, or whatever the filter could give better results. |
This should already be included in the filter description.

There's already a tutorials section under the "More..." tab, but it is a little "sparse". Some gallery-submitters give tutorials in the descriptions there as well.
A fleshed-out tutorials subforum could be useful, but it's not that important considering that every artist works differently. We already have fixed filters; would you further restrict creativity by having fixed methods of using them?
