I recently purchased copies of Filter Forge Professional 2 for my Windows and Mac systems. I initially downloaded all of the filters (FFXML files) through my Windows version of FFP2. Then I copied those FFXML files from the Windows library folder to my Mac FFP2 library folder (approximately 1,400 files). When I opened my Mac FFP2 app. none of the transplanted files (except for the ones that shipped with the original software application) appeared in the various sections within the interface.
Am I missing something or is it not possible to use the same FFXML files for both versions of FFP2? Is my only option to download filters directly through my Mac version of FFP? In advance, thank you for your responses to this post.

It is possible, the ffxml files are platform-independent. Most probably you copied the files in the wrong folder: you need to copy all the content in \Documents and Settings\Your_User_Name\Application Data\Filter Forge on the Windows computer

to /Users/UserName/Library/Application Support/Filter Forge on the Mac computer.

Thank you for your reply. Much appreciated.

Your solution has corrected the problem that I was having.
I didn't think that the FFXML files were platform-independent.

I mistakenly copied the FFXML files (on my Mac) to:
Applications\Filter Forge\Resources\System\Library. smile:D

Interesting to know that the filters are platform independent, so if you have Windows and Mac, or if you are have Windows and want to change to MAc, or viceversa, you would not loose your filters collection and can use them in both platforms smile:)
