I do not mean to be inflammatory here, but I "upgraded" to newest FF2 version for MAC and the result was corruption of the the filter files. I tried to contact the support team multiple times to no avail. Finally, I posted on the forum and received a somewhat terse an inaccurate reply. Ultimately, the comments of others on the forum with the same problem enabled me to resuscitate FF2.
My questions are:
1) What is the story with file corruption here ?
Are all filters on the site tested for "safety" - i.e.will they trash your FF installation ? Reinstalling all your favorite filters again is no fun and a waste of time.
2) Is it worth buying a lifetime upgrade if there is no technical support for the product, which apparently is not technically flawless ?

For what it's worth, I had a minor problem with a filter I submitted so filled out the standard Contact Us form. I received a helpful reply from a real person within a day.
