I'm lost please help!

I am sure that these questions have been answered but i can't find what i need to know.

I keep reading something about FF and photoshop not totally working together. I dont know if i am using 32 or 64. I don't know the difference fr om the two or which one i should be using. I am a graphic designer but i am self taught mainly so i don't know the difference.

So i don't really know much about the technical stuff either. Plugins? When i downloaded the software did it go wh ere it was supposed to to work with PS CS4 or do i have to link to it and save it somewhere?

Does this work like the filters in the filter gallery? How do i make that work? Is that possible?

I am sure i will have more questions but please help me figure out how to use this.

I am in love with all these filters! I am making myself go to bed in a few minutes or i would stay up all night playing.
