Hi Everyone, totally new here and I have a question hopefully someone can answer. I did the 30 day trial, and I absolutely LOVE this program but Im wondering what the major differences are between Standard and Pro....

The simplicity of the pro demo was amazing, and frankly I need simple, but I'm not sure I can afford the pro version so maybe some of you can tell me the differences and please not tell me to look at the list under buy because not all of that helps much lol

Thanks for peeking,

sorry, but what's on the 'buy' page is the differences. just look at the compare chart. it says it all there. if there's something there you dont understand, just ask and we can clarify, perhaps, but there's little sense in anyone on the forums trying to tell you the differences when it's all laid out there on the 'buy' page.

True.....for instance I was wondering about the layout, is there a difference in free stand? Thats not stated on the "buy" page. Perhaps if there were screen shots of all of the packages or just something to say they were all basically the same control panel so going from pro to standard would be a smooth transition.

That's not really laid out. smile:D

The main difference what I can recall is that Pro can render using all your Cores, which is a huge difference if you sit on 16 cores and FF can use one or 16.

cuppycakeums,

since i've never had anything but the pro version i'll have to let others answer, but i can speak to the stand-alone vs. the plugin. it's essentially the same as far as i know.
