Hi.
Thanks FF Guys.

This looks Fun smile:loveff:

I am looking at the new frame component to update some of my filters.

One thing I did notice was that I now see the (old) blend component (v1.002) is no longer working correctly. Does this mean that all filters using Blend 1.002 will need updating?

oh man! this is slick!!! vladimir, i could kiss you! (well, maybe not smile:) ) the first two things that struck me were MORE CONTROLS!! and ZOOM in the editor!! the zoom just makes navigating in the editor so much easier! and you all know how passionate i was about having more controls smile:) i've already mostly finished one filter that's been sitting waiting for this release!

only one thing i've found that i didnt like so far. i used to be able to use the mouse wheel to scroll the controls in the gui. now the mouse wheel scrolls the up and down of the entire control panel. a small price to pay for having more controls smile:)

amazing job, guys!! and i'm sure i'll find more smile:)

Thought I would post the zoom in action. Using my playing cards filter I zoomed out just to see how much of the components I could see. Its a big filter so I still could not see it all but a good majority of it. Very helpful in these filters just to get the components aligned and arranged in an order of some type.

Blend 1.002 should work exactly as before, however all randomizable components look different now:

"All randomizable components (those that have the Variation slider) are now faster due to the new optimized random number generator. The downside is that the numbers produced by the new generator are different from those produced by the old generator for the same Variation value, so all filters that use randomizable components look different now."

Maybe that is the reason? If not, the only reason I can think of is the bugfix we applied to Levels and some blending modes (also listed in the news release).

Actually, we discussed this internally and decided to leave it as it is now (the wheel scrolls the list of controls, not the controls themselves) until someone requests it to be the standard way. We'll simply add an option for this in future releases (I've added this to our plan).

I guess we need one more level for ZoomOut :afro: We'll fix that in the next update.

Hey FFolks! Well, I want to leave here my congratulations to FF team. Thanks for the improvements, fixes and so on. I didn't get time to try it a lot yet becuase I've being quite busy lately, but as soon I get a free time I will post better feedbacks about the 1.003 update. I know that my quick view was very enjoyable.

Exchanging the subject, have a great father's day everyone.

Cheers,
Lucato.
