FF won't open Photoshop files

I have FF 2.0 and Photoshop CS5 on a Mac and the only files FF will see is png. Also CS5 won't see the plugin's so I have launch FF on it's own as a seperate app. I tried saving PS file as 32 bit and 16 bit. Thanks
