Hi Everyone,

I am new to FF, what a fabulous product FF appears to be, I have downloaded the beta version, because I liked the look of some of the new features.

I am trying to get my head around everything. I can see how FF can become very addictive; plus what an awesome community of friendly helpful, highly skilled people, it is so nice to see.

I have looked through forum, and can't see any reference to my question anywhere, although thanxs guys by reading through, I have picked up some for tuts and help to work through to get me going.

I have spent alot of time going through the filter library and downloaded filters that I like. My Question: how do you know from the filter library which new filters have been uploaded since you have checked through them? or do you have to go through them all to find them?

TIA......Have a great weekend everyone smile:) BPA

Thanxs for the welcome Ron smile:D I know I will enjoy Filter forge, I have already got loads of different versions of the same picture, applying different filters and tweaking the settings to get a feel for it, and I love it smile:D

Am I right in my understanding, that when creating a filter, I can put in all the aspects that I want, so it is almost like a small programme that I can run on any image that I choose, saving my settings for a particular style, but allowing variation? I hope so, because normally, I love playing around with graphics, but when I go back later, and can't find the psd file, just the jpg, I cant remember how I did the effects, so that would suit my scatty brain just fine smile:) and I definately have to get involved with making filters, or spend more time working with graphics

I have a lotta learning to do........ You have a great week too smile:)

Yes, once you make your own filter, you can name it whatever you want, save it,
should be there for you, submit it to the library, whatever.
You will love it! ENJOY! smile:)
