Hi all, is it possible to move the FF Application folder from the C drive to an external drive.

My current folder is about 1.45 gig and I would like to move it off my C drive.

All the best.

paganeagle, you can move your user profile folder, which contains 'My Documents', 'Application data' and other user-specific files. There are many instructions on how to do this, you can check this or this one for s start.

Hi there, I have solved the problem.

Original problem, moving the FF Application folder from my XP laptop to my Vista Laptop.

I have loads of filters and didn't want to have to download them all again on the newer system.

Saved the FF Application folder to a flash drive, 1.45 gigs worth.

Put flash drive into newer system.

Changed the settings so I could see hidden folders on the Vista computer.

Went in Users\AppData\Roaming folder.

Copied the Filter Forge folder across and overwrite the current files.

Opened up Elements 6.

Create blank file.

Use Filters\Filter Forge.

Hey presto, all there!!!!!

As I use my newer system for my main graphics works I can now take them off my older system.

All the best.
