Ok so I recently aquired a high usage rank on my first filter (CysticsDesign).
My question is with the 40% 5 day Discount is it possible to use teh 20% discount and get a 60% discount? Or is it just a 20% discount losing the 40%? Have i made myself clear or am i confusing anyone? (Not sure if this is the right place to ask this question but responses would be appriciated.) Also with the new V2 version comming out would it make sense to wait until its release to purchase FF? Cystic. Probably not. V2 is a ways off I wouldn't wait if you could be enjoying the current version now. I suggest you work hard to get more HU's and try for a free version! |

you can apply to FF inc. to extend the trial. they've as long as 90 days total in the past.

Cystic, just click on the contacts tab and ask. I doubt they'll refuse you an extension.

Ha! They said no. However I respect their judgment because 30 days free is a large amount of time, I just wish i had uploaded more isntead of hoarding it all to myself =P. Im not bitter I'll just have to pay the price. But for now I got the free ones, which are some special ones indeed.

wow. never heard them say no before. it might be because the beta for version 2 is coming fairly soon. it also might be something to do with how many filters you submitted or how much you were on the forums during the 30 days. most folks we know of, applying for the extension, were on the forums and actively participating and asking questions and submitting filters. i dont recally seeing you around all that much, so that might be it. did they give any reason?

Nah they just said they think 30 days is sufficient, trust me where I work there is a lot of policy so it's understandable if he presses the point that he CANNOT give me an extension. Like I said im not bitter or dissapointed, I will just have to buy it when the time comes or wait for V2 to come out before i buy it.

30 days isn't that long, and that's pretty weak that they said no, especially since you got an HU already.

Like I said, I respect their opinion and will purchase it sometime in the future.
