Just wondering, how do I post an image (.jpg or .gif) saved on my computer on the forums? I can do it easily with an image on the internet, but not with an image of my own, even if I open it with my internet browser smile:?:

Use the Attach a file box that appear beneath the reply box. Like this:

images posted directly on the forums are limited to only a few file formats. i dont recall all of them offhand. you are also limited to 250k max file size.
If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

The other way is to sign up for a free image server, like Photobucket or Flickr and upload your images there, then link to it with the "image" button. That's how I post mine -- you can get more than one image per post that way.

The down side of that approach is that it's just a matter of time until the image disappears and the archival value of the post is lost.

oh ok, it doesn't show up in the preview, but if you just post it, it works.

BTW, I made the thing above with a FF filter I'm working on.
