D/L on mac>>Instll on Win32?

Hiya, My windows machine has a broken modem, and I generally use my mac for internet anyway, but I was keen to know if theres a way I can download filters on mac then install in my windows machine? I tried to back up my filter library as per the wiki faq, but something went wrong and I lost 100's of filters lol, back to default install.

It would be good to have an easier pipeline to installing filters as the two step download is time consuming. I know some may dissagree, but losing my filter library has probably cost me at least a whole day of click click click. If I could I'd just install the whole (current) library, as obviously I cant/would rather not get my windows machine online. Im a much happier camper if my windows install NEVER goes online.

So can I download on mac, then put the files into my windows machine?

just "click there" and download them on your mac.

You're looking for a .ffxml file

Just save them somewhere, open filterforge, press Ctrl+L and drag the downloaded .ffxml files into the folder.

Simple enough- how did you manage to delete all your filters? Worst case scenario they're in your recycle bin. Check there and if they're not in the bin just search for " *.ffxml " with the windows search.

Why don't you want to connect the PC to the internet?
