Sorry I've been away so long. The kids were moving in and I was babysitting daily for 9+ hours. I have severe arthritus and this has taken a toll on me. I am in non stop pain now. I can't walk right, I have a lovely virus, and I'm wore down. I spend what little time I have just trying to recover.
When things ever get back to normal and the pain is less I will be back.
So, anyone interested in helping poor Alex out?  |

Think Alex must have messaged a few of us, I replied and suggested they contact the Filter forge people and gave them a link to the forum that says about the trial extension period if you do etc. etc.. oh heck am going to bed.. is 2am.. bah so much for an early night!! Nothing wrong with a little insanity ;)

Do you guys remember when someone made a bunch of the same filter and got HU on all of them within a day or two??? These "hacks" are getting more and more clever.....
My computer recently got whacked with the nastiest name-changing virus/embedded adware generator that I've ever seen. This thing was engineered to the hilt!!! Somehow it got past everything and snuck onto my HD, completelely took over my machine (tagged all system files, cut access off to all programs and drives, corrupted all restore points and disk image, etc), and completely took over my CPU by continuously self-generating adware from my HD. I had absolutely no way to get rid of it.....so I had to do a complete purge, reformat, and reinstall......totally sucked!!! Steve

Look, I'm sorry if we're cramping your style, but many, many people here, including myself are fiercely loyal to the FF team, and thus felt it necessary to come down hard on people who do this.

Not that anyone cares, but it is kind of amusing that the latest crack there is from a Russian site apparently, or Ukraine at least (not like I can read either, so just guessing eh), and well, as most of us know, so is FF. Not that that makes it any better or anything, just saying, kind of ironic for once, the whole Russian hackers thing etc. But really goblin ? On the company forums ? Posting a link to cracked software on the companies forum, that's not just low, that's plain dumb ha-ha.

Then what is your point? Why go through all the trouble of him emailing everyone when......He signed up for an account which is needed to contact anyone through the FF email...He could have easily posted the question in the fourm which would have taken less time then emailing everyone seperatly...Also it would have been answered and he would have been welcomed rather then get yelled at for mailed all in the thread who have posted and who knows who else.........
